Straight Outta Grover’s Corner

About the Production

Straight Outta Grover’s Corner is an adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s Ourtown, infused with Marin City/ Sausalito history during the 1940’s and 1960s. Our story follows young people as they navigate through love, racial discrimination, and a desire to find liberation in a system against them. This show was written and directed by Griot Artistic Director LeShawn Holcomb and features Conservatory Theatre Ensemble and Young Griot Ensemble members who have originated the parts.
